Yeah when Strasburg went with the first pick of the 3rd round I didn't think I'd get one of my top 2 pitchers.

Abreu could be a massive keeper.

I think I heard a collective sigh, or more likely a, sigh, you mother..., when he got picked that early. I was looking for him early in 6th (not sure if I'd risk him going by you from 5th tho)

If it makes you feel any better, he's now got Chris Davis, Joey Votto and Jose Abreu and only 2 starting spots to put them in with no CI and only 1 UTIL. Best bench bat in the whole draft right there, lol!

I'll be interested to see what he's got up his sleeve. Now that I look, there's a couple teams that already have 3 1B. Those of you that don't have one yet...pickings are quickly thinning out.

I was going to MI with one of my picks but decided I'd take a risk that both my choices would still be around in round 6, plus getting Yadi instead of Mauer threw my plan off slightly.

I was so upset about Abreu going off the board that I panicked and tripled up on 1B's myself with Rizzo a couple picks later. Gonna be hard to shoehorn big Matt Adams into an OF slot - guess he and Rizzo will be platooning and only facing righties in my UTIL slot.

I've got room in my lineup for a 1B, so let me know if you'd be interested in dealing one of Pujols/Rizzo/Adams.

Nice pick with AGon there. I'm shocked he lasted that long the way things have gone so far. Almost as shocked as I am at the massive closer run so early in the draft with 6 in the last 10 picks!

Not all that sold on Gonzo to be honest. Pitchers park and what is skill now, AVG and RBI (situational), no OF-elig anymore.
I hate picking McCann there, but didn't have many other likable choices myself. Suprised Teheran went there, risky

Suprised Teheran went there, risky I like him there, especially for a team that didn't have any SP yet, you gotta grab some upside. Heck, I was this close to grabbing him with the previous pick.

Yeah upside is ok, but for your first SP, I'm thinking, safety first

Surprised Teheran went there, risky Sure Agonz is in decline...but I'll be super surprised if he doesn't return value on where I got him, that being exactly the 100th player off the board. Most "experts" have him in their top 50 or so. As far as Teheran, I like him a lot this year...but would definitely be nervous if he were my SP1. That said, he certainly has the skills to be exactly that. And closers....like I said there are already 102 picks off the board at this point....that's 9th round territory. Usually about where most closer runs occur.
