Well that kinda sucked that he's getting TJ surgery, but so it is. Few issues.
I have suggested in the "Keeper" thread that we have a spot for "60-day DL" that will not count towards the roster size, but will allow managers to keep the player at the end of the year, or put him back in the pool. Also known as the "Morales Moral Dilemma" or as they call it on the streets, "Dibs". Getting him at 25th round for the next year is certanly worth the risk for the other vultures..err managers, but to me he's a major problem. Even if he comes back for the next season, the 6th round is way too early and not to mention that he will be using up a DL spot the entire year.
I would like some clearence on that issue, but it seems pretty logical that I should be able to drop him now and reevaluate the situation before our next draft and choose if I want to take a risk in the 6th round (doubtful) or drop him back in the pool (probable).
Also, I have been going through the rule book and found the "Keeper season ending injury exemption" rule where it says that I'm eligible for a pick in 26th round before FA are released to everyone. It's all there, yeah. Check it.

Agree with this. But we would have to find an effective way to do this that everyone finds agreeable. A 60 day DL would work for me if it functioned like an Injured Reserve list with a limit of 1 or 2 players that are on the real life 60 day DL. I think it'd be best to visit this before Opening Day though.
