I've gotta say Eric, I'm not a big fan of the Garza pick.
Mostly because he was next on my list, but none the less, not a big fan of the pick.

Yeah Garza is a gamble. But at this point in the draft, a decent gamble, IMO. He's supposedly recovering faster than expected, so we'll see what happens. We all know his upside. Could make a very nice #6 starter for my squad.

He could have made a very nice #3 starter for my team, since apparently Ryu may not get a rotation spot, and Chapman may go back to the closer role. I'm fully expecting one or both of Morrow/Gio to get injured or something today to completely wipe out all my starters.

Ivar....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Man, he was literally next on my list. Great, great snag. Janssen hasn't pitched yet this spring training, so Santos COULD be the closer come opening day. Gah. Now I need to find a new could be closer

If you're interested in trading for a closer let me know, I'm open to dealing one.

There has got to be a better way to do this this draft. There may well be a better way. And I am fully open to any suggestions you might have for improvement.

Well, it came down to Hamilton or Profar for me at this point in the draft, and I went with the guy I saw out in Arizona in November. He has some serious speed. But I was kinda hoping that nobody would think about taking Profar, so nice move Charles.

Well I am looking at it from the standpoint that I do not try to hold up the draft. IF it's my pick, I make that pick whether I was at a wedding, my daughter's birthday part etc. However it takes me forever to open 4 windows and search on my phone who is available only to find out the person I wanted was taken in that round. i guess I could just wait until I get to a computer next time and not worry about it.

Yes you've done much better at doing your best not to hold up the draft this year, and believe me, we all appreciate that. I agree that the availability of players is something that we need to make more concrete and accessible for next year's draft. Perhaps a Google docs list might help. Perhaps we do actually base the draft within Yahoo itself. And there is always the option of moving to an online draft, although I am pretty happy with the slow draft and what I take from it. At any rate, we are nearly done...only 16 more picks to be made.
