Man, am I glad Cole lasted as long as he did.
I mean, I have a glutton of SP (8 now), but Cole is worth holding onto.
If he makes the team out of camp, he will be my early favorite for NL ROY.

Personally, I like the slow draft and how it plays out over weeks. A good source to see who has been drafted would be nice. The problem is getting the information on any board in a timely fashion. I suppose a Google Doc spreadsheet that the league has access to would work, but that is still another window/tab to open. Still, we will be done in time for Opening Day, and what more did we really want?

If you hadn't sniped Cole from me, he would have been on my roster. Not that I am unhappy with my Alonso pick, especially since I needed R, RBI and BA. Still, I have a soft spot in my heart for Cole after hearing a salacious story about him at the 2011 First Pitch Forum in Arizona. I do expect him to go to AAA to delay his arbitration eligibility, however, and we should see him in June.

One or two of the top SP will go, knew Pujols would go, Votto will go and, odds are, Cano will go as well. Honestly, I think McCutchen will have a hard time replicating season from last year and you may regret trading up for him. I know I wouldn't have taken him at any spot in the 1st rd, so you know of at least two spots he wasn't going at As always, I'm an idiot.

Dude, I drafted Ellsbury #8 first year, when Miggy went 12th? I got dibs on that crown for years to come
